Echinocereus rubispinus - 2" tall

 
These are little 2" tall seedlings. E. rubispinus is a columnar cactus that has pectinate spines that grow tightly to the body. Spines are red and vary in shades of red to off-white. Grows to 12" tall and 3" wide. The flowers are a stunning purple with white throat and red stamen. The full botanical name is Echinocereus rigidissimus ssp. rubispinus.
